Digital Spy give Day 'N Nite a 4 out of 5 review;

"Signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D record label and about to star in US TV series How To Make It In America, it's no surprise that critics are tipping Kid Cudi as a one to watch in 2009. Modestly claiming that his music will "set the pace for the new generation", expectations are high ahead of the release of his debut single.

For its UK release, 'Day 'n' Nite' has been given a hefty remix from knob-twiddling duo Crookers. Originally sounding like it could have fit comfortably onto West's 808s & Heartbreaksalbum, it's now been transformed into a floor-filling hybrid of drum 'n' bass, dance and garage. The result? It's looking like those critics are going to be proved right."
