After the phenomenal success of his Top 10 hit ‘Won’t Go Quietly’, Example prepares to unleash his next smash ‘Kickstarts’, released through Data Records on 13th June. This time, Example has dug deep and created a tune that transforms his very own love poem into a feel good, dance floorfiller.
Produced by champion of the drum’n’bass scene, Sub Focus, ‘Kickstarts’ is a summer festival anthem in waiting. In true Example genre defying style, ‘Kickstarts’ juxtaposes the heartfelt lyrics of an epic ballad with all the musical elements necessary to make a huge rave anthem. With a stroke of genius Example has created a tune that would feel at home on the biggest sound systems in the world, all the hottest festival fields in the country as well as providing the soundtrack to a party for two.
Alongside new material, Example will be nurturing the leviathan that is Example Live with his own massive 25 date UK headline tour kicking off in April. Having supported two of the UKs biggest artists Lily Allen and Tinchy Stryder by request to sell out crowds, he is ready to go solo with his own tour and a host of UK festival appearances this summer including Glastonbury, T in the Park, Bestival and V as well as heading out to Ibiza once again this summer for an Ibiza Rocks residency.
With support from Radio 1 DJs Greg James, Zane Lowe, Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Jo Whiley, Capital, Galaxy, Kiss, MTV, 4Music and T4 (Example was tipped as one of T4’s Rising Stars of 2010), the Example love is spreading fast. Over 4 million hits for his videos on YouTube and according to The Guardian a ‘bright pop tinged superstar in the making’ watch this space for more exclusive news.
‘Kickstarts’ is released on 13th June, followed by Example’s highly anticipated new album ‘Won’t Go Quietly’ available on 20th June
