Yves Larock Skippers & Two Page 3 Girls :)

From Today's Sun Newspaper, and online :
"Page 3 babes Mel and Nikkala jump for joy - trying out the latest extreme skipping craze. It features in the amazing pop video for Yves Larock's Rise Up, which is set to be this summer's hottest dance tune. The track is already racing up the Radio 1 charts FOUR WEEKS before its release. And yesterday the stars of the video - world skip champs PJR - exclusively showed our girls the ropes at London's Ministry of Sound."

The girls were put through their paces by Planet Jump Rope skip chief Maarten Goedeme and his team.
Afterwards Nikkala said: "It was so tiring doing that but I really enjoyed it.
"It's hard trying to ignore the rope and keep your rhythm but we got there in the end."
And Mel added: "That was exhausting! I need a rest - those lads must keep so fit."

Planet Jump Rope was formed four years ago by Belgium's brightest skip stars and since then they have performed to thousands of people around the world. This week they touched down in the UK to promote the new Yves Larock video.

Maarten, 28, said: "This is the first proper dance video that we have done but we loved it. It has really gone down well and people everywhere want to know how to do our tricks. The harder stuff is complex but everybody can skip - no matter how old!"

Zane Lowe!

Zane Lowe has just played Archangel's "Physical Energy" again this evening, saying its something they "really really like" - missed it live of course, but will be listening again :) Great & exciting news - well done Adam!!

Honeyroot

From the very first to the very last note, The Sun Will Come is a classic summer album to sit alongside Air's Moon Safari, Moby's Play and Royksopp's Melody AM but with a sound that is uniquely Honeyroot (Eletronica pioneers Glenn Gregory & Keith Lowndes) and a must for beach parties, dance floors and back gardens across the globe... The album is out on the 9th July through Just Music, video below is the Manhatten Clique Remix of Heavy Drops..

Great Review For Marion Raven's Debut Album..

"If you are from the mindset that the White Stripes are the most amazing thing in rock - then you are wrong. The most amazing thing in rock is actually Marion Raven, and because of this it isn't too hard to say that "Set Me Free" is jewel-coated brilliance".

Glastonbury 2007

So I glad I didn't work at this years Glastonbury - the thought of being cold wet muddy and miserable for 5 days doesn't appeal - add to that the chaos of getting off site today in what some newspapers are calling the "wettest day for 50 years" I'm glad I stayed at home and watched the BBC's coverage from the luxury of my sofa.
