Dude 'N' Nem Guardian's Band Of The Day No. 218!


Following on from the Sonny J Band Of The Day piece earlier in the year, we're gobsmacked that Paul Lester has picked Dude 'N' Nem, the rap duo who have launched a dance craze in the States :)

"Watch My Feet by Messrs Trygic and Upmost aka Dude 'N Nem is the latest in the "grand" tradition of frenetic motion-related rap novelty cash-ins such as Kriss Kross's Jump and House Of Pain's Jump Around, although actually Watch My Feet is more of a celebration of horizontal than vertical motion but there you go. It's a veritable commercial jiggy juggernaut, kickstarting a dance craze in the States called Jukin' or Footworkin', which has been described as "hip-hop Riverdance". Click for more
